Games used to increase students' knowledge of condoms

About 23 students were greeted by a large inflatable smiling penis as they walked into the Dining Commons on Friday night to participate in the Condom Olympics.

The Condom Olympics were set up by members of the Peer Health Education Program to promote safe sex.

"The group wanted to do something that would be fun and interesting for students to participate in," said Jeannette Truong, a junior majoring in biochemistry and a peer health educator. "We wanted to help students understand why condoms are the best thing to use."

Fired Teacher, Unwed and Pregnant, Sues

The New York Civil Liberties Union has filed a federal discrimination complaint against a Catholic school, charging that it unjustly fired an unmarried teacher for being pregnant.

"I don't understand how a religion that prides itself on forgiving and on valuing life could terminate me because I'm pregnant and choosing to have this baby," Michelle McCusker said Monday at a news conference to announce the suit.

WORKERS get more than just jolly over the festive season, according to a survey that shows one in five have sex in the office.

The staff meeting room is the most popular venue, followed by the boss's desk, stationery cupboard and the car park.

And a third have been caught in the act.

Even if they don't have sex, four in 10 admit they use the Christmas party as an excuse to "pull".

Booze plays a major part, according to 1,500 workers polled by razor firm Wilkinson Quattro.

Professor Ian Philp, the so-called "old-age tsar" is leading a one-day conference on the health of old-age people on Thursday.

He said: "Sexually active older people live longer and stay healthier than their celibate counterparts.

Police bust fake China-U.S. Viagra ring

Chinese police on Thursday hailed the bust of a Sino-U.S. piracy ring making fake Viagra, but denied using arrests of Americans or other foreign nationals to publicize the fight against piracy, which the United States says China is losing.

Chinese and U.S. authorities had cooperated to crack the ring, with one American and 11 Chinese arrested as recently as last week on charges of producing 440,000 pills of fake Viagra, Cialis and other drugs worth million if sold as real, Ministry of Public Security officials said in Beijing.

Almost a quarter of British motorists admit they have been so distracted by roadside billboards of semi-naked models that they have dangerously veered out of their lane.

In research released on Monday, one in five male drivers said their eyes were diverted from the road by posters of scantily clad women -- such as the saucy cleavage shots of model Eva Herzigova in her notorious adverts for Wonderbra.

However only one in 10 women were put off by the sight of a semi-dressed male model.

Bonita Springs man accidentally hit in genitals by Taser

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. - A naked man was accidentally shocked in the genitals by a Taser after he was found breaking windows and asking women to touch him inappropriately, police said.

Jeremy J. Miljour, 26, of Bonita Springs, attempted to run when approached by Lee County sheriff's deputies Saturday. When he ignored requested to stop, Deputy Daniel Hollywood shot Miljour with a Taser.
